This course will give you the knowledge skills required to work at heights safely and competently, within factories, resources, infrastructure, and construction industries. This is vital for any profession that is exposed to any risk of a fall.
This course aims to prevent falls in the workplace. So, this will provide the skills and knowledge required and the confidence needed to work safely at heights in the work environment.

Delivery Method
This course will be done at the i-Tag Training facility, in the workplace or at a third-party facility.
Physical Requirements
Participants need to be able to accomplish the demands of the practical demonstrations which include getting access, working, and egress from a place of height while wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment.
Assessments
Participants who will take this course will be expected to undergo both theoretical and practical assessment tasks.
#1 Theory Assessments
You will be evaluated on the following:
- Names and functions of different types of equipment, components, and materials
- Comply with instructions and specifications from the equipment’s manufacturer
- Safe shifting and handling of tools and materials
- Adhering to statutory and regulatory authority requirements
- The nature of work undertaken at heights
- Complying with heights safety systems
- The processes in providing safe working practices
- Using safety equipment, systems, and considerations in facilitating, and working safely at heights
- Complying with the safe work methods
#2 Practical Assessments:
You will be assessed on the following scenarios ad task demonstrations for:
- Identifying and interpreting requirements, instructions, and procedures
- Examining, interpreting, and applying safety and technical information
- Determine the necessary safety systems which include fall protection, and equipment
- Know how to access and install equipment
- Conducting inspections and checks on the equipment, and area
- Examining risks and hazards related to working at heights, and implementing control methods
- Perform work at heights safely
- Cleaning your work area
